An Italian Summer dream

Where History Lives — and So Do Their Roots

Venice · Bologna · Florence · Rome · Puglia · Sorrento · Naples | 14 Days

Some trips are about seeing Italy. This one was about belonging to it.
The Borrelli family — five of them — came to Italy for two reasons woven into one journey: to celebrate twenty years of marriage, and to find the place their family came from.
They started in Venice, where a private gondola slipped through the canals as the city revealed itself slowly, the way it only does when you're not rushing. Bologna, Florence, Rome followed — each one layered with food, history, and the particular magic of a family experiencing it together. The Vatican on a June morning, skip-the-line, the Sistine Chapel going quiet around them.
Then south. Past the places most tourists stop. Into Puglia — the sun-bleached heel of Italy's boot, where the light is different and the pace is slower and the food tastes like it always has. For Mr. B, it wasn't just sightseeing. It was standing on the land his ancestors left. That kind of moment can't be planned — but it can be made possible.
They ended in Sorrento, with balcony views over the water and three nights to simply exhale.

Twenty years. Five passports. One unforgettable summer.

"We cannot say enough about having you take care of us for this important "once in a lifetime" trip. You made a difference!"
